From Kylie Minogue’s success on the hit song, “Spinning Around”, many more artists sought the help of DioGuardi, which included big names such as Faith Hill, Celine Dion, Santana, Pink, Gwen Stefani, Avril Lavigne, Backstreet Boys, Pussycat Dolls, Hilary Duff, Jessica Simpson, Camp Rock and Britney Spears, among many others. Kara DioGuardi’s portfolio is not limited to the United States; her songs also receive international success with hit singles for artists such as Ricky Martin, Belinda, Enrique Iglesias, Kylie Minogue, Anastacia, Thalia, Diego and other non-U.S. artists. DioGuardi is also a favourite songwriter of American Idol stars, such as Bo Bice, David Archuleta, Katharin McPhee, Clay Aiken, Kelly Clarkson, Taylor Hicks and Carrie Underwood.

For 13 years, since 1995 to 2008, Kara DioGuardi has had about 40 international-charting singles and helped 46 albums reach the Top Ten of the Billboard 200. She has been nominated to the Grammys, won the 2007 SOCAN Award as well as the 2007 “BMI Pop Songwriter of the Year” after having awarded 10 BMI Pop Awards as the ‘most performed song on the radio’ for four years.

Aside from solo artists and bands, Kara DioGuardi’s songs are also featured in TV shows, film soundtracks, radio spots, motion pictures and even on international commercial campaigns. Kara DioGuardi is also a co-owner of the Arthouse Entertainment – a company that develops and trains fellow artists, producers and songwriters. She is also a VP of the A&R at Warner Brothers Records. Kara DioGuardi’s latest addition to her long list of achievements is being the fourth judge of the hit singing contest, American Idol starting January 2009.
