Kara has had guest appearances in many TV shows like "Talk show with Spike Feresten" (2008), "Late Show with David Letterman" (2009), "Entertainment Tonight" (2009) and "Live with Regis and Kathie Lee" (2009).

Kara won BMI Cable Award for the soundtrack for television series "For the People" in 2002.

Kara DioGuardi won ten BMI pop awards for having co-written "The most performed songs on the radio" during the period 2003 to 2007. She was honored with the "Pop Songwriter of the Year" by BMI for the year 2006.

In 2007, Kara received Latin Grammy nomination for her writing on the Belinda single, 'Bella Traicion' along with co-writers Nacho Peregrin, Belinda, Ben Moody and producer Mitch Allan.

She won TAXI A&R award as Humanitarian of the Year at their annual Road Rally Convention.

Among several hundreds of Kara's songs, 268 songs have been released on major record labels worldwide and about 168 are multi platinum selling albums. She has written songs for many motion pictures, television shows and radio shows.

Kara's songs over the years have been sung by Grammy award winning stars like Christina Aguilera, Gwen Stefani, Santana, Backstreet Boys, Hannah Montana, Britney Spears and several other celebrity singers.
