Kara has now joined as the fourth Judge on Fox’s hit television reality show "American Idol: The Search for a Superstar" (2009).

“American Idol” is created and executive-produced by Simon Fuller, founder of 19 Entertainment, which produces popular entertainment, shows such as British television series “Pop Idol”.

Kara DioGuardi is the youngest judge on America’s most popular show "American Idol". Her colorful experience as a songwriter is sure to add glamour to the already glamorous show.

Kara, the most sought after songwriter and producer is currently offering her valuable suggestions and opinions to the wannabe American Idols.

Kara DioGuardi has joined the elite judges on “American Idol” teaming up with the likes of Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson.

Kara's many songs were also sung by past American Idol winners and alumni Katharine McPhee, David Cook, Carrie Underwood, David Archuleta, and Kelly Clarkson.
